Munay-Ki

Traditionally shamans are the equivalent of priests in tribal communities. As such they officiate over the various ceremonies in their tribe, from births to death, from Rites of Passage to Weddings. As a trained shaman, Chris is available to her community to perform Fire Ceremonies, Birth Ceremonies, Weddings, Rites of Passage and Death Rites. Ceremonies are about marking a transition. Chris can design with you a ceremony to suit whatever your wants or dreams are.

The rites of the Munay-Ki are the energetic “codes” for this new human known as “Homo-Luminous” or “Light Being”. The Munay-Ki are the nine great rites of initiation of the medicine way, which come from the ancient men and women known as the Laika. These initiations are one of three pillars of the medicine teachings and are best received in conjunction with the "core insights", the personal healing work of the Medicine Wheel and the intervention tools of shamanic energy medicine, as taught in the Healing the Light Body program. Together with the teachings and interventions, the rites, which are received as “seeds” have the solid vessel necessary for them to grow within and the fertile soil that nurtures them to blossom fully.

The Rites of the Munay-Ki are experienced in the form of energetic transmissions that shift the luminous energy field. They are a nine step process to heal the wounds of the past – our karmic & genetic inheritance. They help us to step into the fullness of our nature by transforming our human energy field and re-informing our DNA, enabling us to grow a new body – one that ages, heals, and dies differently.
Join me in Peru for an 11 Day Expedition to Choquequirao, 11-22 June 2012. In the Quechua language, Choquequirao means the “cradle of gold.” This is an extraordinarily beautiful and challenging trek that takes us along a pre-Columbian trail, through lush vegetation, and down 6,000 feet to the glacier fed Apurimac River, where we view eagles and condors along the way. This is a rigorous six day hike along the Inka trails. Be among the few explorers to visit this extraordinary archeological site.
